Via Ferrata Full Day Adventure
Journey to new heights this summer with the ACC
Trip Description
This course provides participants with the opportunity to experience the David Thompson corridor from a new perspective. It is a full-day, guided, climbing experience using metal cables, iron rungs, and ladders fixed to rock surfaces, allowing you to explore breathtaking mountain terrain safely and confidently throughout an entire day of alpine exploration.
Our full-day format allows you to develop greater technical proficiency and confidence while experiencing more remote sections of these spectacular mountain routes. The course is led by ACMG Guide Brent Peters, who personally curated this immersive experience. You’ll enjoy the opportunity to tackle more challenging routes and gain extensive practice while receiving expert instruction from a local professional.
This course is suitable for those who have some previous via ferrata or climbing experience. Participants should have enough fitness to carry a pack all day, while ascending vertical walls.
Group gear, like ropes, is provided. Participants will be responsible for their own transportation, lunch & snacks, water, and personal gear listed on the gear list.
